Stuart Weitzman 5050 boot

The iconic 5050 boot by Stuart Weitzman celebrates its twentieth anniversary this fall. The house continues season after season to give us his classic (black nappa , black patent and suede navy blue. This year, it benefits from their birthday to reinvent this boot in a variety of unique materials that are offered for the first time .
It is found in printed :  zebra, crystal clear sea snake leather, black " goosebump " nappa , leopard and even cognac studded suede tan. The most dramatic model is undoubtedly the paved version of the Swarovski . This version is custom made with 25000 crystals that are hand-set in a sophisticated leopard pattern  (and will be available for the modest sum of 10 000). The retail prices for the rest of this collection starts at 598$ for the base model up to 890$.

This legendary boot, sparked a cult following among Hollywood starlets and it-girls worldwide and is considered a must-have each autumn. From the Sundance Film Festival (Elizabeth Olsen ) to all Amazing Spider -Man (Emma Stone) , on the red carpet ( Olivia Wilde ) , or on a concert stage (Ke$ha) , on the New York streets ( Olivia Palermo) or in between photo shoots ( Miranda Kerr ), the  5050 is as versatile and stylish as Hollywood celebrities who wears it.

Its popularity , still unsurpassed , is attributed to its unique design and refined half and half expandable micro nappa leather - giving it the name of 5050 . The ultimate in fashion and function , this best-selling style is both elegant and flattering on all shapes and sizes of legs.
For those who wish to purchase a similar model at a lower price , I noticed several good inspired replica at Micheal Kors and Bravo [ house brand at Brown's ] brand.

Happy shopping ladies !

Tartan

When the leaves begin to fall and the weather gets cooler , a classic and elegant pattern makes it's appearance: the tartan !
There is a "je ne sais quoi" about this engraving tiles that fits so well with the cold temperature. I personally am so happy to see it coming back each fall and to see it's evolution .That being said, we do not want and can not do with a piece of old tartan, and we must always be on the lookout for new ways to wear this timeless look ( do not worry, that's what I'm here for ;-)) .
As seen on the fall 2013 runways, we're craving checks and tartan. Mix this preppy classic with a leather moto jackets and boots for a look that's less school girl, and more cool girl.
As a result , I was more than pleased to see the multitude of interpretations always chic and constantly renewed of this trend on the catwalks .I stopped my choice on the distinguished models of Celine with oversized coats and print. That one would turn, any fashionista, green with envy . Stella McCartney also struck hard with her creamy and cozy sweaters. For a slightly more punk look that packs a punch , you can always count on Sonia Rykiel .
Take a look at the following for more ! Will you add tartan to your wardrobe?
