Sneakers

In the sport shoes corner , normally reserved for runners and athletic gears , is now the place where can be found the latest fashion " must-have ". This new addition have been on the street fashion scene for about 2 years and can now be seen on the glossy pages of our fashion magazines. The sneaker, like we know it today, was introduced to us with great reviews and popularity by no other than Isabel Marant .

Leandra Medine of
the famous blog Man Repeller, gives all the credit to the famous designer: "I truly believe that Isabel Marant's model is a highly stylized excuse for a "street fashioner", a drug for women involved in the search of novelty, to finally start wearing more comfortable shoes , "said Medina .After years of fun and impractical high heels, it seems that the trend carries us toward something more classic and wearable without falling into the orthopedic look. The trend is so strong that even the well known sports brand like Puma have decide to use one of the coolest artists on the planet, Solange Knowles, to revamp its collections. Last night, the singer announced that she will be the new artistic director and creative consultant of the famous company .So celebrate the passing fashion by adding comfort to a classic or stylish dress with a great pair of New Balance, or a touch of pastel and a mix of neon with Nike. It was a long time ago that the ultimate look was in the form of a shoe not only flat , but extra comfortable. Enjoy it while it passes, words of a fashionista!

What are your most comfortable shoes?

Gray nail polish

One of my favorite fall  moment is when we begin to identify all the new colors of nail polish that scrolls across the city. This season, my favorite color is definitely gray.  The top notch one, the one that deserves the title of the most beautiful shade of gray is most definitely Galathee by NARS .

A touch of gray really lends itself to all occasions, without being too harsh and dark like black or even more difficult to wear like white. Give your manicure a sophisticated twist and a discreet look for the holiday season.
It is possible to have a little fun by adding a touch of color with the new "French manicure" approach, to go with a "ombre", or again a gradient swatch (50 according to the famous book).

What do you think? What other nail colors you like to wear these days?

The cape

I’ve been seeing more and more of this very classic look lately, mostly on the European street styles. It grabs my attention every time I see someone wearing it. To my personal opinion, this almost a coat, not really a sweater piece of clothing, is as much fun to play with then a great pair of shoes. I would call it the winter version of a “Kimono”.

To look at its best wearing one of the "star" of the season, it’s important to play with volumes to balance the silhouette. The long and wide version of a cape coat is worn with skinny, boots or ballerinas. If you prefer a shorter version, I would strongly suggest you pair it with a narrow pencil skirt or dress and pumps.
The cape allows us to overlay, it is worn with a turtleneck or thick wool sweater, with a pair of long leather gloves for an ultra-sophisticated effect. Color wise, prefer neutral colors like black, brown or gray ... If you want a little more punch, go for a tartan!

Finally, a small handbag or a discreet pouch is preferred ... Avoid fat bags and shoulder messenger that prove impractical and even less attractive when worn with a cape!

What is your favorite winter look? What kind of kind of warm gear do you wear?
